The Story of Us
Taylor and I met Summer 2009 at a church camp called EFY.
I had a little crush on him. He had a little crush on me.
But because we were both shy, neither of us really knew.
For the next year or so, I would occasionally get phone calls from him all the way in Utah.
We would talk about nothing and everything for what seemed like forever.
Summer 2010- I moved to Utah to work before I started school in the Fall.
We would see each other a few times during the next 6 or so months.
January 2011 comes and Taylor leaves to serve a 2 year mission for our church.
March comes and I leave school to move home to get treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
I would move back to Utah later that year in November, while Taylor still has about a year left of serving the people of Japan.
Over the next year or so I worked, went to school, played, dated, and got healthy.
January 2013 comes and Taylor returns from his mission!
We reconnect again on Facebook on his birthday (January 7).
We plan to meet up and do just that.
The "date" felt just like old times, but there was no definite promise of anything.
February rolls around and Taylor invites me to come up to Logan (about 2 hours away).
I meet him at his Nana's house, where I am introduced to everyone besides his parents. (ah!)
We hung out with his family for a while then we drove to Logan.
We really only had plans for lunch and not much more.
I ended up staying quite longer than that.
I drove around this little town aimlessly as I sat there taking in the words that were coming out of his mouth..."If I was to start liking you, I don't think I'd be able to stop."
My heart truly starting beating that day.
We took it slow, and did the long-distance relationship for about 3 months.
We saw each other every Saturday after that first date. Never missed one.
April comes and Taylor decides to move to Provo and get a job (all to be closer to me)
We knew we loved each other and I knew I wanted him forever.
May 10, 2013 Taylor proposed!
July 13, 2013 we were sealed in the house of the Lord for time and all eternity.
November 11, 2013 we found out we were expecting!
February 13, 2014 we found out we would be having a boy!
June 21, 2014 our little Tucker Levi Jeffery came into the world 4 weeks and 5 days early.
And,
the best has yet to come.
