Benson is nine months! That means he is 75% through his first year! Can hardly believe that.
At night months, Benny:
It's 20 pounds 12 ounces (68%) and 30 inches tall (96%). And a head circumference in the 93rd percentile!
He wears 12 month clothes most comfortably and his new clothes for Christmas I got him in 18 month. And when he is in disposable diapers he is size 4.
He takes two (mostly 2 hour) naps a day. One in the morning around 10 or so and one when Tucker has his afternoon nap.
He is sleeping SO MUCH BETTER. Our sleeping training paid off and I'm so glad. He is now usually only waking once in the early morning to eat. Then I'll put him back down and he will sleep til it's time to get up. Sometimes if he wakes around 2 or 3 then he might get up again sometime before 7 to eat, in which case I'll lay him back down afterwards and he will also another 1-2 hours. Hallelujah. Now the next step is working on sleeping through the night. I doubt that will happen while he's still nursing though. And that's ok :)
He still nurses around 6 or 7 times a day. But usually only eats for around 5 minutes. Sometimes longer. I will be sad when we finally decided to stop breastfeeding.
He eats three meals a day now, too. He probably (definitely) out eats Tucker! It's crazy. He loves anything and everything and one of the few times he will cry is when the food stops coming. It's adorably hilarious. Some of his favorite foods are: cottage cheese, cheese sticks, bread, yogurt, bananas, vegetables, and Cheerios. But really any food makes him happy.
He is now sitting great! Took him long enough. And still not crawling. He can move himself backwards and pivot in a circle. He can get up on his hands and is starting to suck his knees under him at the same time. I think he is close but not close enough if you know what I mean. Haha.
He is kinda starting to wave and it's adorable.
He loves to play with his feet, shoes and socks just like Tucker did at this point.
He loves to roll around all over the floor.
Is so ticklish and has the cutest belly laugh.
Is so smiley and flirtatious. And has THE CUTEST dimples.
Loves stroller rides.
Not too scared of people at this point.
Had his first Halloween and Thanksgiving (by far his favorite holiday because he got to eat so much)
Went to Glenwood, Delta, and his uncle Quin’s wedding.
Going to have his first Christmas soon!!
He is an angel baby and we just love him to pieces!
