So we thought the Hogle Zoo would be a blast...and it was! Even if it did rain :)
It had been many years since I'd been to the zoo and Taylor hadn't been since he was a kid! And Tuck has never been, obviously, and so it was the perfect activity!
I love animals and the zoo and had such a fun time showing Tucker all of it! We took our stroller but we ended carrying him the whole time! We traded off carrying him, but Taylor mostly carried him...he's a heavy little guy! :)
We saw lions, tigers, bears (oh, my!), birds, seals, giraffes, otters, monkeys and my favorite- elephants! We got through almost all the animals when it started to rain. It had been pretty overcast all day, but the forecast said it wasn't going to rain- well, that definitely didn't happen! We were walking in the rain with no umbrella and it was pretty cold, when we realized Tuck only had one shoe on. Ha. So Taylor ran back to find it while I walked up the hill back to the front of the zoo. Needless to say, we got a little wet.
When we were walking to the front, we got a call from Taylor's sister Jessica to tell us that she had just gotten engaged! We are so excited for her and her fiance, Corby. Can't wait for the wedding in August!
